Our House charity
We’re proud to support our local house charity, Chestnut Tree House children’s hospice
Chestnut Tree House children’s hospice provides care and support for children and young people with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions in Brighton & Hove, as well as across East Sussex, West Sussex, and Southeast Hampshire. From offering help in families’ own homes to activity days and short breaks at the hospice, the team provide specialist care while allowing kids to be kids and mums and dads to be just that, rather than carers. And when the time comes, they help families to say goodbye in whatever way feels right for them – providing end-of-life care at the hospice or in families’ own homes, and ongoing bereavement support.
The Mowgli Story
A tale of a different kind of Indian restaurant in Brighton
Since we landed in Brighton, we’ve been on a mission to show the coast what real Indian food is. In our family kitchens, food is all light, vibrant, and built for sharing with the people you love. We’ve brought those family recipes to the Lanes to bridge the gap between Indian traditions and the breezy city of Brighton.
The Mowgli experience
What to expect
We’ve gone all out with the signature rope swings and vine-wrapped trees to create a relaxed, slightly playful vibe. It’s a come-as-you-are kind of place where you can lose track of time over a delicious Indian feast while the Brighton world wanders past outside.

Things to do in Brighton
Dukes Lane drops you right in the middle of Brighton’s best bits. You’re in the perfect place to weave between the narrow, brick-paved alleys of the North Laine and the salty air of the promenade, making us a handy spot to drop anchor and refuel.
